Nevada is a U.S. state bordering Oregon, Idaho, California, Arizona, and Utah. It produces about three-quarters of all the gold mined in the United States, earning it the nickname, “Silver State.” Other underground treasures here are copper, silver, and black opals. The Las Vegas strip alone is enough to bring you to Nevada for your next team retreat.
The sights you can see here are endless. You can explore Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, Hoover Dam, Valley of Fire State Park, Fountains of Bellagio, Lake Mead, and Zion National Park. We couldn't do it without you. You were a huge support for us. We did a feedback survey asking the team how everything was, asking about the hotel, the food, the program etc. and they were able to rate from 1 to 10, & overall we have a 9.5 So it was really really successful!
The expectations were really high. We put a lot of pressure on you since the start, telling you about our last events in the Moroccan desert and in Eiffel Tower. But it was great. The organization was really smooth. The event was beyond expectation!
We did a survey with the guys, we have like mostly 9/10, or 10/10. People were really having so much fun… they were very happy with the choice of the place. The venue, the weather, the team dynamics, it all came together really well.
I really felt having you being part of it was such an asset. Just knowing that you were point in organizing this and then also if there was a question or problem we could just reach out directly was really helpful.
Everybody loved it! We did a post-offsite survey, and it was all vibes! Everything went to plan. One thing that we were all saying internally as well is like - I honestly don't think we would have made happen unless we had Surf Office.
It was great! People loved the balance of free time and activities. They loved that we gave them options on activities.
We have been doing this since 2008, so it was the 17th event this year. And the consensus was that this was the best ever. Everybody was super happy, they had lots of fun. So it was great.
People got together, people got to see each other. We had really good internal sessions, and also a lot of off time sessions. I feel Surf Office thought of a lot of things that one would not think when you're planning an off site in another country.
We have grown so much since our last event, so were a lot of people, and we needed those three days to talk, to interact with everyone... You handled it so beautifully. We did not have to worry about organizing or arranging anything. You guys did an amazing job.

Nevada combines Las Vegas nightlife, desert scenery, national conservation areas, and resort-style infrastructure. Few destinations make it this easy to pair a structured offsite with activities like Red Rock Canyon hikes, Hoover Dam visits, shows, and group dinners.
Las Vegas is the most practical choice for most company retreats in Nevada because it has the strongest airport access, hotel capacity, meeting venues, restaurants, and team-building options. Lake Tahoe and Reno can also work well for more outdoor-focused groups.
Most teams fly into Harry Reid International Airport (LAS), which is around 10–15 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) is better for retreats near Reno or Lake Tahoe.
March to May and September to November are usually the best months, with warmer weather but less extreme heat than summer. July and August can be very hot in Las Vegas, so indoor venues and evening activities are easier to manage.
Popular options include Red Rock Canyon hikes, Las Vegas scavenger hunts, escape rooms, cooking classes, group shows, Hoover Dam tours, Lake Mead boat trips, ziplining, and desert ATV experiences.
Most Nevada retreats work best over 3 to 4 days. That gives enough time for arrival, focused sessions, one major team-building activity, and at least one evening group experience without making the schedule feel rushed.
The biggest planning points are summer heat, busy event calendars in Las Vegas, resort fees, transport between venues, and balancing nightlife with productive work time. In our experience, Nevada retreats work best when evenings are social but not overloaded.
Nevada can support both. Small teams can choose boutique hotels or desert-style experiences, while larger groups benefit from Las Vegas’ hotel capacity, event spaces, airport access, and large-group dining options.
