Most teams fly into Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX), which is only about 10–15 minutes from the Old City. There are direct flights from Bangkok (around 1 hour) and connections from regional hubs like Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.
November to February is the most comfortable period, with temperatures around 20–30°C and lower humidity. March to April can be very hot, often above 35°C, while the rainy season runs from May to October.
The Old City is ideal for a cultural and walkable experience, Nimmanhaemin offers a more modern and creative setting, and areas along the Ping River provide a quieter, scenic atmosphere.
