Planning an all-company retreat for a team from literally all over the world was such adaunting task! Jolanda and the team at Surf Office were the only way we were able to pull off such an event so seamlessly. It was the best company retreat any of our team has ever attended, and we can't wait to try to top it next time.
-Erin Rice, People & Operations Coordinator at Process Street

Process Street is a fully remote software company that offers a simple, no-code workflow management and automation platform to help teams build powerful processes that complement their business and tackle recurring work.

Process Street prides itself on a people-focused work culture. It's a company where all team members (48 of them!) feel welcomed and equipped to make a difference daily through meaningful work. Knowing this, it's no surprise that the idea for the company's first-ever all-company retreat was born before the pandemic when the team was just 20. As the world changed and the company grew, the wish for facetime became even more vocalized. Their goal? To strengthen their team and their impact on both product and community — all while having a blast on the sunny coastline of Porto, Portugal.

In planning their retreat, it was essential to the Process Street team that they find a good balance between work and play. Throughout their three-day retreat, they opted for two work sessions in the mornings, followed by fun team activities during the remainder of the day. Their team activities allowed them to split into smaller, more intimate groups based on their interests and explore all Porto had to offer, from historic food tours to wine tastings, surfing and even an evening river cruise. Of course, Process Street sent a videographer along to capture all the action.

One of the highlights? The team's canyoning tour. Team members had the chance to swim in clear pools, zip-line amongst beautiful waterfalls, and slide through natural toboggans. It was an opportunity to take in the stunning scenery of Portugal, with plenty of team bonding and inside jokes made along the way.

For many remote teams, getting the chance to meet up IRL provides the perfect opportunity to connect more deeply, make memories, and get productive at the same time. And if you ask us, the Process Street team did just that. We can't wait to see where they'll go next year!
