We recently organized our company offsite with SurfOffice, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. This was our second year working with Surf to plan our annual company retreat, and once again, they smashed it. We had a beautiful, restorative and fun retreat just outside of Barcelona that the whole team loved. Ireland combines warm hospitality, dramatic landscapes, historic cities, and a relaxed social atmosphere. For teams we’ve hosted, the strongest appeal is often how quickly a company retreat in Ireland can shift from productive meetings to memorable shared experiences.
Dublin is best for international access, nightlife, and short retreats. Galway works well for creative, coastal, and culture-focused teams. Cork is good for food, history, and southern Ireland itineraries, while Wicklow and Killarney are better for nature-led offsites.
Dublin Airport (DUB) is the main international gateway and is around 25–40 minutes from central Dublin by taxi or coach. Cork Airport (ORK) and Shannon Airport (SNN) can also work well depending on your retreat location.
May to September is usually best for an Ireland retreat, with longer daylight hours and better conditions for outdoor activities. April and October can also work well if your team wants fewer crowds and lower seasonal pressure.
