+ The facility hosts a ton of great networking events and has an awesome terrace view and game room that are great for midday breaks and after work hangouts.

+ The internet is fast and secure and the staff are always helpful in answering any questions. 

- There often isn’t any car or bicycle parking available so plan accordingly before you visit. 

WeWork Weesperstraat

+ Located right besides the canal with large windows facing the water, WeWork Weesperstraat is easily accessible by Amsterdam’s metro and tram services.

+ The facility hosts tons of high-quality events that are great for mingling and networking with other remote workers.

+ The staff are great and offer plenty of support in making sure that members' needs are met.

+ Additional benefits include fast wi-fi, free coffee and beer, access to showers and a dog-friendly atmosphere that is perfect for members with pets.

- Parking can be difficult at this space if you are commuting by car or bicycle. 

B. Amsterdam

+ They host tons of fantastic events and offer some amazing opportunities for workers to connect and network with other members.

+ There is tons of parking available at this facility which is a bonus for anyone commuting by car.

+ Additional benefits for members include strong wi-fi and access to padel courts, a gym membership, and rooftop restaurant that is great for grabbing a quick bite to eat.

- The location isn’t the most public transport friendly so plan accordingly before visiting. 

StartDock Coworking Herengracht

+ StartDock Co-Working Herengracht is an awesome co-working space with nice people and a relaxed atmosphere.

+ They host tons of events including Friday afternoon drinks that are great for networking and making cross-company connections.

+ The service at this space is excellent and staff are always willing to help answer any questions.

+ Members will have access to amenities including a fully-equipped kitchen, conference rooms, great office space and luggage storage.

- The space can be a little noisy at time due to background music and lots of teams sharing the facility.

TSH Collab Amsterdam City

+ The staff are super friendly and always willing to help answer any questions. 

- Sometimes the space can get a little noisy during the busier hours.

Meet Berlage

+ Meet Berlage offers an affordable co-working space near Amsterdam’s Central Station, making it easily accessible by public transport.

+ Meeting space is available to rent by the hour and phone booths are available on a drop-in basis for any quick calls where you need a little added privacy.

+ The coffee is free, the wi-fi is strong and the facilities even have a bar and free library available onsite. 

+ The community here is terrific and the staff are really welcoming and accommodating to any member requests. 

- The furniture can be a little uncomfortable if you’re working long hours.

+ The wi-fi is fast and reliable and members can enjoy other benefits including a free guest pass, lockers and access to phone booths for private phone calls. 

+ The management team is always accommodating and the community of like-minded remote workers make it a great spot for idea generation and gathering feedback on projects.

- The acoustics aren’t great in some of the workspaces making it a bit challenging at times for focussed work during noisier hours.

Treehouse Tribe

- The heating isn’t great in some of the lecture rooms.

We’ve spent many hours searching for the best spots in each of our destinations and even came up with our own Surf Office rating system. According to our system, a great workspace must have: natural light, fast internet, comfortable chairs, a conference room, great location, affordable prices, and a buzzing community.
