Late spring and early autumn usually give teams the best balance. May to June and September to October are especially attractive because the weather is warm enough for boat trips and outdoor dinners, while the city is generally easier to manage than at peak summer intensity. In our experience, Dubrovnik works best when the agenda leaves time to enjoy the setting rather than packing every hour.

It also helps to choose accommodation carefully, because some parts of Dubrovnik are better for walkability while others are better for larger groups and easier transfers.
