Istanbul is one of the best-connected cities globally. Istanbul Airport (IST) is about 40–50 minutes from the centre depending on traffic, with direct flights from major cities across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America.
Spring and autumn are usually the most comfortable periods, with temperatures around 18–28°C. Summers can be hot and busy, while winters are cooler and better suited to indoor-heavy schedules.
Sultanahmet is ideal for a historic setting, Karaköy offers a more modern and social vibe, Galata provides a central and atmospheric base, and Kadıköy on the Asian side gives a more local and relaxed experience.

Istanbul works well when the agenda is intentionally balanced. In our experience, teams we’ve hosted benefit from mixing focused sessions with cultural experiences that naturally bring the group together.
Given the scale of the city, 3 to 5 days tends to work best. This allows time for meetings, exploration, and at least one standout group activity without rushing.

We had a beautiful, restorative and fun retreat just outside of Barcelona that the whole team loved.
