Guided mountain hiking

  • Treat your team to a guided hike along one of the region’s enchanted trails and reap the benefits of forest bathing.
  • Short easy hikes (1-2hrs) and long intermediate-difficult hikes (3-4hrs) are available to suit your team’s needs.
  • Your hike may include interesting conversations, stories about local lore, and observations of the geology, flora, and fauna of the eco-system.
  • The Catskills are among the oldest mountains in the world – and they have much to teach for those who stop to listen.

Tubing on the Esopus Creek

  • Tubing on the Esopus is the most popular team bonding activity in the Catskill Mountains.
  • The Esopus Creek follows Route 28 and winds through the bottom of town.
  • There’s a quiet, calm section for team fun and a relaxing view, and a wilder section with rapids and whitewater for the more adventurous tubers, all in all totaling five miles of tubing fun.
  • Each section takes about two hours to complete but we guarantee time will fly as you float down this scenic stream.

Yoga classes

  • Yoga is a great team building activity for those who want to improve flexibility, strengthen their body, and calm their mind.

  • Spend a couple of hours after dark in the glow of a nice wood fire, listening to the sounds of nature and spending quality time with your colleagues.
  • Please note 24 hrs advance notice is usually needed for this activity, weather permitting of course.

Garden and horticulture tour

  • Learn about the work that goes on behind the scenes to bring you the food and flowers at Menla, home of Dewa Spa!
  • Their main garden is a source of food, flowers, herbs, medicinal plants, and pure beauty.
  • They also have several beds around the property that are cultivated for their own personal use.
  • Working in harmony with nature, they create gardens that improve the soils, provide habitat for beneficial critters, and are fully organic.
