  • Typically this experience runs around three-hours and requires quite a bit of walking so be sure to wear comfortable shoes.

Blow off some steam in a rage rooms

  • If you’re looking for a fun, laidback team building activity where you and your coworkers can unwind and relieve some stress, consider booking a Rage Room for your team retreat.
  • You’ll get to destroy objects like glassware, electronics and furniture using a variety of tools from sledgehammers to baseball bats and crowbars. 
  • You’ll be expected to arrive in closed-toe shoes, long-sleeve shirts and pants but all other safety gear such as gloves and goggles will be provided by the facility. 
  • Employees will walk you through everything you need to know to have a safe and fun experience before giving you around 30-60 minutes to smash away on your own time. 
  • This activity is fairly budget-friendly and works well to accommodate a wide range of group sizes. 

Take aim at an archery facility

  • Build new skills, unwind with team members and engage in a little friendly competition with an archery battle.
  • You’ll be split into two teams and battle it out with bows and foam tipped arrows. The game is similar to dodgeball and the ultimate objective is to tag all of the opposing players with arrows in order to eliminate them from the game.
  • The arrows are specially engineered to leave no bruises or marks, and masks are required at all times in the arena to protect your eyes.
  • This is a great activity for teams of all sizes accommodating groups as small as six and as large as eighty!
  • You’ll be provided with a referee to monitor your gameplay and all the equipment you’ll need, just make sure to wear comfortable workout attire and good shoes for running around.

Test your aim at axe throwing

  • Build a new skill, bond with coworkers and above all have fun, with a team axe throwing experience on your next retreat.
  • At the start of your experience a trained instructor will take you through all of the safety requirements and throwing techniques that will have you tossing axes like a pro in no time. 
  • Some facilities even offer mobile units where they’ll bring all of the axes and targets directly to you.
